Kilmurry-Ibrickane Parish is in the Barony of Ibrickane in West County Clare. There are a number of O'Brien families living in the parish that I believe are related. I invite you to look at their records and stories on the blog to consider if your O'Brien Ancestors may have originated from this area. Sláinte, Kevin James O'Brien/Caoimhin Séamus Ó Briain I would like to hear your comments and any history on your family. Please contact: killernanfarm@gmail.com
A lovely thought .

ReplyDeleteThank you---succinct, meaningful prose.
ReplyDeleteKevin, I pinned Dear Ancestor several weeks ago. It is the only thing I have ever pinned that has been repinned over and over again. That prompted me to take another look and visit your site. I will travel to Scotland from the U.S. this spring in search of my ancestors. I hope to have the good fortune to locate one or more tombstones of my ancestors. Your words will go with me. In addition, I traveled to two graveyards in the U.S. this summer to arrange for tombstones for 4 unmarked family graves. Your words will be kept with the photos of those tombstones and will also inspire me to arrange for tombstones for 4 additional unmarked graves. Much Thanks!
ReplyDeleteSo lovely. Is there a way I could have a print of this? Thank you for caring for the past.
